The New Cole Field House

Proud Past, Fearless Future

For nearly half a century, Cole Field House hosted historic matchups and national championships that celebrated the best of sports. Now, a revitalized and expanded facility will build on that legacy. The new Cole Field House will be a real-world living laboratory where innovators, scientists, clinicians, athletes and trainers converge to advance science at the Center for Sports Medicine, Health and Human Performance (CSMHHP).

The touchstone research component of the CSMHHP is the Brain Health and Human Performance (BHHP) program. Among other research areas, the primary focus of the research in Cole Field House and BHHP will focus on nervous system injury response, the promotion of recovery and mitigation of risk.
